REATERS Revised
The Neighborhood Book Club
The neighborhood book club, REATERS, has been an OFNA institution for 18 years or so. The name echoed the club’s twin goals of reading and eating! Each month the club would meet to discuss a book of the host’s choice. The accompanying potluck dinner was based on the setting of the book, which meant many an interesting, international meal.
As members and interests changed, so did the book club. Recently, the group reorganized under a new name, REATERS Revised, with less emphasis on eating and more on reading and book discussion. Meetings continue to rotate among members’ homes, where a light snack or drinks are served. All meetings begin at 7:00 pm.
If you are interested in joining, or just attending to get a feel for the group, contact Joan Scott, 520.292.1487.
We invite other neighbors to join us. The book club a great way to meet your neighbors and to “meet” new books. All neighbors are welcome. One more nice thing about a neighborhood book club: you don’t have to drive far to the meeting!
